Lehigh Valley Health Network (Allentown, Pa.) has implemented two software-as-a-service solutions from Pharmacy OneSource (Bellevue, Wash.) to allow its pharmacists to cross reference patient data with medication information to improve decision making.

With Sentri7, clinicians have a single point of access to lab results, medication records and patient demographics that reside in different systems, helping them to more easily identify at-risk patients, says the company. Quantifi enables pharmacists to document clinical interventions, adverse events, and drug reactions through a series of menus, drop-lists, and input screens.

Lehigh Valley is a three-hospital system with two facilities in Allentown and one in Bethlehem. The network also includes eight health centers providing care for patients in four counties and primary and specialty care physician practices throughout the region.
