The University of Colorado Hospital (UCH), extended its communications infrastructure built on Irving, Tex.-based NEC’s communications servers by implementing the nation’s first Cisco Nurse Connect solution.
The company says NEC’s customized deployment is designed to allow nurses and other clinical staff to reduce human latency, improve response times and spend more time with patients.
The University of Colorado Hospital is the Rocky Mountain region's leading academic medical center. Located at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colo., the hospital’s physicians are all affiliated with the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine, part of the University of Colorado system.
