The New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System (NMVAHCS) has selected Picis (Wakefield, Mass.) CareSuite for perioperative automation. CareSuite

The New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System (NMVAHCS) has selected Picis (Wakefield, Mass.) CareSuite for perioperative automation.

CareSuite will integrate with a variety of medical devices in the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA). According to Picis, the solution will automate administrative and clinical functions including surgical scheduling, perioperative documentation, supply chain management and billing.

NMVAHCS includes the VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, a Level 1 tertiary referral center.
