Children’s Hospital Boston has purchased licenses of eClinicalWorks’(Westborough, Mass.) unified EMR and practice management software for its primary care network.

As part of the agreement, eClinicalWorks is working with the Pediatric Physicians’ Organization at Children to build a pediatric-specific disease registry reporting module.

The hospital will host the solution using a Software as a Service (SaaS) model so members can access the system via the Internet. A pediatric-specific disease registry reporting component will help track clinical quality measures so that the physicians can collaborate as a network to improve care, says the company.
