Mississauga, Ontario-based Trillium Health Centre, one of Canada's largest community hospitals, has gone live with Carefx's Fusion, an aggregation platform designed to automate clinical workflow.

According to Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Carefx, Fusion integrates patient information from diverse applications and databases at the user interface level, and reduces the time clinicians spend searching for the information they need to diagnose and treat patients.

The use of Fusion from Carefx is part Trillium's $100 million THINK Initiative aimed at redefining the care delivery process. Trillium will continue to roll out the solution to over 2,300 clinicians and medical record personnel who will have access to critical patient data at every clinical workstation throughout the medical facility, says the company.
