Cook Children’s Physician Network (CCPN, Fort Worth, Texas) has partnered with Watertown, Mass.-based athenahealth, Inc. through its purchasing organization, PedsPal, to offer preferred pricing for athenahealth’s EHR and RCM service to CCPN’s 1,100 affiliated physicians.

Practices owned by Cook Children’s will be interfaced with Microsoft’s (Redmond, Wash.) Amalga and HealthVault products in support of a larger extended enterprise connectivity strategy, it adds.

Cook Children’s is an integrated pediatric health care system. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, the non-profit organization includes a nationally recognized Medical Center, Physician Network, Home Health company and more than 60 pediatric medical offices and specialty clinics throughout Texas.
