Regional Hospital Opens its Doors with Diagnostic Care

Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC) of British Columbia opened its doors with GE Healthcare (United Kingdom) diagnostic equipment.

Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC) of British Columbia opened its doors with GE Healthcare (United Kingdom) diagnostic equipment.

As part of this partnership, GE Healthcare is linking patient and clinical care, including the first MRI machine for a hospital in the Fraser Valley, a new neonatal intensive care unit, and real time monitoring of the emergency room beds with a focus on cardiac care.

ARHCC says it will offer digital mammograms, CT, mobile and digital X-ray units, complete physiological monitoring systems, telemetry systems and other wireless communication tools. GE Healthcare is also providing medical imaging management, physician information management and a full suite of surgery-related solutions for the new facility.
