Natchez Regional Medical Center (NRMC), a 179-bed hospital in Natchez, Miss., has selected Optio Healthcare's subscription-based electronic health record (EHR), in addition to its forms automation, document management and patient-signature capture solutions in an effort to streamline operations and eliminate the high cost of pre-printed forms and redundant manual processes.

According to Optio (Alpharetta, Ga.), NRMC will also implement its document design and distribution, patient-signature capture and OptioFax solutions.

Optio's Deficiency Management solution is designed to help clinicians manage and sign off on patient charts with automated workflow and chart completion tools, resulting in a reduction in days not final billed (DNFB), says the company.
