Our Lady of Lourdes Health Care Services (Camden, N.J.) is deploying software from Wellsoft Corporation (Somerset, N.J.) in the Lourdes Medical Center Burlington Campus Satellite ED in Browns Mills, N.J.

Construction recently began on the new state-of-the-art satellite ED at Deborah Heart and Lung Center’s Browns Mills campus, which is scheduled to open in March 2010. According to the company, the 24-hour facility will improve accessibility to emergency care for families in Burlington County and nearby communities. The 10,000-square-foot ED will feature 11 exam/treatment rooms, a triage bay, a cardiac resuscitation room, specialized treatment areas, including OB/GYN and Isolation/Decontamination, space for support services, and a comfortable waiting area.

Lourdes Health System includes Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, a 410-bed regional referral center; the 249-bed Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro; and Lourdes Wellness Center in Collingswood.
