Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Los Angeles, has added a self-scheduling feature for employees.

The 425-bed hospital adopted the application from RES-Q, Calabasas, Calif., to give employees more control over their schedules.

According to RES-Q, Northridge has used its system since 1999 to manage staffing and scheduling for 1,200 employees. The RES-Q software produces skill-matched and financially optimized staffing schedules, according to the company.
