Southwest Washington Medical Center (SWMC) of Vancouver, Wash., has inked a three-year deal with Alpharetta, Ga.-based Novo Innovations to improve the exchange of health information throughout the network.
Through the agreement, the hospital intends to expand the range of information it can exchange electronically to include radiology reports, lab orders and other information that is valuable to SWMC’s practice population, according to the company.
Four affiliated practices have already been interfaced with the hospital’s EMR systems, and Novo’s agent-based software is being implemented in another 14 medical groups.
Southwest is a community-owned, not-for-profit, 360-bed, medical institution that provides outpatient and inpatient diagnostic, medical, and surgical services to Clark County residents.
