Chesterfield, Mo.-based Unibased Systems Architecture, Inc. (USA) is unveiling Physician Order Capture and Enterprise Tracking (POCET), a Web-based solution aimed at improving convenience for physicians, increasing access management productivity, and electronically documenting physician orders for procedures, says the company.
The solution is designed to streamline physician order capture for procedures and eliminate multiple phone calls, faxes and delays in gathering orders and linking them to a specific encounter, it touts. POCET will capture, store, and link scanned, faxed, email or electronic orders for procedures to both patient and physician records.
Orders will be stored as documents, which can be made available to any authorized department, distributed to the enterprise document imaging and storage system, or stored indefinitely within USA’s product suite, it says.
