Dayton, Ohio-based Standard Register’s Healthcare Business has announced the appointment of Ann B. Scales, a healthcare business strategist and solutions developer, to the newly created post of healthcare marketing and product management director for document and information management solutions.

Scales will be in charge of evolving the current document management product line and expanding information management capabilities to support healthcare providers as they transition from paper to software.

Prior to joining Standard Register, Scales was an independent healthcare business consultant. She founded and led several consulting practices, including ARC Business Systems Consultants and Creative Systems Consultants where she analyzed healthcare problems and developed solutions to address her healthcare clients' clinical and business challenges.
