Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, Conn., has chosen the Belgium-based Barco Coronis Fusion 6MP DL display system for its radiology professionals.

Barco partnered with Fujifilm Medical Systems (Stamford, Conn.) to integrate this technology into the PACS environment utilized throughout Yale-New Haven Hospital. Barco’s 6MP DL is a six MegaPixel PACS display system for diagnostic imaging that features a 30-inch workspace with no center bezel, giving radiologists the freedom to organize their desktop as one widescreen 6MP or two 3MP displays, in grayscale or color, for full diagnostic detail, says the company.

Yale-New Haven Hospital is a 944-bed tertiary referral center which includes the 201-bed Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital and the 76-bed Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital.
