Chinese Hospital Picks Agfa RIS/PACS

The First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University in China has chosen Belgium-based Agfa HealthCare to implement a second phase RIS/PACS

The First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University in China has chosen Belgium-based Agfa HealthCare to implement a second phase RIS/PACS program.

According to the company, the collaboration with Agfa Healthcare will expand the existing RIS/PACS solution to service image intensive departments outside radiology, including trauma and cardiology.

In its final phase, the entire RIS/PACS solution will be integrated with the hospital’s HIS, allowing the distribution of diagnostic information to all clinical departments within the institution, says the company.
