Memorial Healthcare Taps HIE Solution

Memorial Healthcare System, a four-hospital, 1,500-bed organization located in Fort Myers, Fla., is deploying San Diego-based Axolotl Corp.’s Elysium Exchange suite of solutions to securely access and share clinical data between physician practices and medical staff. The System will utilize Elysium Exchange to clinically network its hospitals’ health information with disparate EMR systems in physician practices, enabling the exchange of referrals, laboratory results, radiology reports and other patient data, says the company.

Memorial Healthcare is the public, non-profit provider serving south Broward County. The network has more than 10,000 employees and includes the following facilities: Memorial Regional Hospital, Memorial Regional Hospital South, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Memorial Hospital West, Memorial Hospital Miramar, Memorial Hospital Pembroke and Memorial Manor.
