Emdeon and Fifth Third Bank Collaborate on RevLink 4.0 Platform

Emdeon Inc., Nashville, Tenn. and Fifth Third Bank, a financial services company based in Cincinnati, have announced that RevLink Solutions will be powered by Emdeon’s Payment Automation platform. Fifth Third says its product suite automates the claim and payment posting process. The collaboration on the updated RevLink 4.0 will leverage paper truncation workflow and help eliminate unnecessary document processing, according to the companies.

In addition, Emdeon has announced that three of its revenue cycle solutions have earned Peer Reviewed designation of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Emdeon Assistant, an automated patient eligibility and benefits verification tool, won the designation for the fourth year in a row. Emdeon Claim Master, a Web-based claims management solution, and Emdeon Payment Integrity Services, which provides accounts receivable audit and recovery services, both won the designation for the second straight year.
