Two nursing informatics professionals have been selected by the Alliance for Nursing Informatics (ANI) to participate in the Nursing Informatics Emerging Leaders Program. Based on competitive criteria, Stephanie Lambrecht, RN-BC, MSN, MHA and Po-Yin Yen, PhD, RN, were chosen for this exclusive two-year program designed to develop professionals capable of assuming national leadership positions in informatics-related organizations.
ANI and the Nursing Informatics Emerging Leaders Program are jointly sponsored by the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) and HIMSS. The program provides emerging leaders with invaluable mentorship and opportunities to participate in educational industry meetings and events.
Stephanie Lambrecht works as an RN Product Manager of Clinical Solutions at Elsevier. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. She also has her nursing informatics certification.
Po-Yin Yen is a Research Assistant Professor, Department of Biomedical Informatics at The Ohio State University (OSU). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, her Master of Science in Medical Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, and her doctorate in Nursing with Nursing Informatics as a specialty from Columbia University School of Nursing in New York.
