Bill Lynagh, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Crimson at The Advisory Board Company joined HCI Editor-in-Chief, Mark Hagland to talk about accountable care organizations (ACOs) at length with several tweeters. Some of the specific issues discussed were patient attribution, physician culture, data integrity, and the future of government-payer ACOs after the recently released results from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on years 1 and 2 of the Pioneer ACO program.
