Yousuf brings to AssureCare a distinct and diverse healthcare perspective. Dedicated to helping people, he spent over 25 years in healthcare, working as a leader in health insurance, physician group practices, and multi-hospital health systems. Prior to AssureCare, he served as the President and CEO of Mercy Health, the largest health system in the State of Ohio and one of the largest in the United States. Under his leadership, Mercy Health was named a Truven “Top 15” health system two years in a row. Yousuf led Mercy Health in the development and execution of the region’s first and only Accountable Care Organization (ACO), the advancement of its Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) project, and Population Health Management. Yousuf has a Doctorate in Public Health from University of Kentucky, a Masters of Health Administration from Xavier University, and a Masters in Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University.
