    Megan Pruente is the IT Director of Person Identity Management at Banner Health, leading initiatives to improve person matching and data integrity across the healthcare system. With over a decade of experience, she is an expert in master patient index management, data quality, public health informatics, and healthcare analytics. 

    A recognized speaker and educator, Megan has developed an online health informatics course and mentored professionals in the field. She has received several accolades, including the AHIMA Rising Star Award (2014) and the AHIMA Mentor Award (2023). 

    She holds a bachelor’s degree in health informatics from The College of St. Scholastica and a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota. Before joining Banner Health, Megan served as Vice President of Industry Relations and Strategy at Harris Data Integrity Solutions, where she championed best practices in healthcare person matching and data integrity.
