Dell’s E1705 Inspirion notebook features an Intel 2.16 GHz Core Centrino processor with a 2MB cache and a 667 MHz FSB. It comes with Windows XP Media Center Edition, a 17” widescreen display and an integrated Intel 950 graphics media accelerator. For a crisper display, customers can choose a 17” UltraSharp widescreen UXGA display with integrated TrueLife technology; and either an ATI MOBILITY RADEON x1400 HyperMemory 256MB, or an NVIDIA GeForceTM Go 7800 256MB DDR video card. High definition stereo speakers with integrated subwoofers provide the audio. A 24x/10x/24x CD-RW and 8x DVD-ROM combo drive come standard, which can be upgraded to a DVD+RW: 8x DVD+/-RW2 disc drive.
