Cardiovascular Information Solution

Jan. 12, 2010

McKesson's Horizon Cardiology cardiovascular information system is a modular, single-platform offering that helps reduce redundancies and encourages adoption of structured reporting techniques. The Web-based Charge Manager module automatically captures charges directly from procedural documentation, reducing the number of manual, paper-based steps required. As part of the charge capture, the system generates a charge-audit work flow, simultaneously displays charges and reports on the same screen, and electronically supports technical and professional interfaces. Horizon Cardiology features complete integration of Fractional Flow Reserve into the hemodynamic module. The cardiologist can embed this information into an image for it to automatically display in the final report.
