Providers affirm that PatientKeeper EMR Overlay is a viable long-term solution
OREM, UTAH, October 11, 2013 — Providers using PatientKeeper CPOE (computerized physician order entry) have unanimously declared that they see the EMR overlay as a long-term solution for their facilities. This finding comes from a newly released KLAS report entitled “PatientKeeper 2013: A New Take on Inpatient CPOE.” As part of the report, KLAS interviewed six different healthcare facilities across the nation to capture their experiences with the technology.
“Many providers have looked at PatientKeeper CPOE as a stopgap measure only,” said Mark Allphin, report author. “Interestingly, though, every PatientKeeper CPOE customer we spoke with determined that even if they changed EMRs, they would still likely stay with PatientKeeper CPOE. The key is the system's time to proficiency and overall ease of use for physicians.”
The report showcases the performance of PatientKeeper CPOE across multiple criteria including usability and overall performance.
