EMR vendor gets high scores in KlAS report on infection control vendors

Nov. 20, 2013

OREM, UT – November 19, 2013 – The performance scores of the top three infection control vendors-CareFusion, Hospira and Wolters Kluwer-are separated by a scant three points. The KLAS report entitled Infection Control 2013: High Performers Abound examines the growth of the infection control market and its top players, which include an EMR vendor for the first time.

“What is interesting about this segment is the growth of vendors entering the space and the perennially high levels of provider satisfaction,” said Adam Cherrington, report author. “There are a lot of high-performing players vying for market share, but so far no one is running away with the ball. It is still anyone's game.”

As part of the report, KLAS interviewed 224 providers from across the United States. Providers gave feedback on multiple criteria, including overall performance, provider perception, functionality and product quality.
