Navicure and ZirMed announce naming of merged company to Waystar

Navicure and ZirMed, two providers of revenue cycle technology, who merged in November 2017, announced the combined organization will operate under the new name Waystar. Waystar simplifies and unifies the healthcare revenue cycle with technology that empowers clients to collect more with less cost and less stress, so they can focus on their goals, patients, and communities.

Waystar brings together two organizations and offers cloud-based, end-to-end revenue cycle technology to its more than 440,000 providers, 21,000 healthcare organizations, and 550 hospitals and health system clients. Waystar’s solutions address deep and growing market challenges facing healthcare organizations. Waystar’s enterprise-class revenue cycle technology enables healthcare organizations to navigate reimbursement complexity, embrace patient consumerism, and reduce cost and stress improving financial performance.

Navicure and ZirMed, have consistently received industry recognition from a number of leading sources, including Best in KLAS awards as the top rated clearinghouse and claims management vendor nationally since 2010, including 2018; along with the highly regarded “Peer Reviewed by HFMA” designation through the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA); and both recognized by Black Book, a leading healthcare market research firm, as top performers in their respective markets by the customers they serve.

Waystar will maintain its existing locations and teams in Atlanta, Louisville, and Chicago, as the company continues to expand its strategic growth and client service teams. Waystar plans to maintain the Navicure and ZirMed brands during the continued transition process to make for a smooth client, partner, and technology integration.
