Healthcare Informatics, in collaboration with healthcare leaders from across North Carolina, is bringing its critically acclaimed Health IT Summit Series event program to the Raleigh/Durham area on Oct.  19th and 20th at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel.

The Raleigh Health IT Summit is a two-day program focusing on the impact that technology is having in transforming the clinical diagnosis and delivery of healthcare in the U.S. The summit will take an in-depth view of new value-based payment structures, Medicaid reform in North Carolina, electronic health record optimization, and strategic considerations for managing ever escalating operational and capital budgets.

The summit is also dedicating a full day to an increasingly vital topic—cybersecurity—where new threat detection and response strategies will be examined, guidelines will be discussed on how to create a comprehensive security system amidst a patchwork of legacy systems, and how to create a strong cybersecurity culture. The full agenda can be viewed here.
