At HIMSS Conference’s End, Attendance Surpasses 37,000

As attendees at HIMSS12, being held at the Venetian Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas Feb.20-24, headed for the exits, the Chicago-based Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society announced that, as of Friday morning, attendance had reached 37,032 attendees, surpassing the HIMSS11 attendance figure of 31,500 attendees by nearly 5,000. The announcement came just after well-known author Dan Buettner had completed his closing keynote speech on health and longevity.
