Healthcare Informatics Receives Bronze Award in Healthcare Publishing Industry Awards Program
The American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE) has announced the winners in its ASHPE 2014 Awards Competition, a prestigious annual industry awards program. The team of editors at Healthcare Informatics has received a Bronze Award in ASHPE’s “Best Special Report / Section” category for its Top 10 Tech Trends section in March 2013.
In that section, HCI editors looked at some of the most important trends emerging in healthcare at the time. From provider and vendor organization and consolidation to payer-provider collaboration to an emerging big data and analytics evolution, these trends are altering the healthcare landscape.
In the announcement, ASHPE says that it “recognizes editorial excellence and achievement in the field of healthcare publishing. The annual awards competition provides an opportunity for editors to measure their efforts against the very best the healthcare sector has to offer. You can be proud that your hard work has earned you this highly regarded honor.”
The entire Healthcare Informatics team is grateful to receive the recognition that this prestigious award conveys, with regard to the team’s ongoing commitment to providing HCI’s readers with the very highest quality in reporting, commentary, analysis, and news. At a time of accelerating change in healthcare, we at Healthcare Informatics are passionate about supporting our readers in all the tremendously important work they are doing to advance healthcare in the United States and beyond.
