The Advisory Board, a Washington, D.C.-based technology, research, and consulting company, has acquired another D.C. consultancy in Clinovations.

The Advisory Board, a Washington, D.C.-based technology, research, and consulting company, has acquired another D.C. consultancy in Clinovations.

The acquisition was for an undisclosed sum. Clinovations will work alongside Advisory’s consulting and management division, which is based in Tennessee. They’ll add aim to expertise in helping provider organizations get value from their investments into electronic health record (EHR) systems and weave through the various regulatory barriers.

According to DCInno, Clinovations was growing by leaps and bounds. From 2012 to 2013, the company’s revenue nearly from $14.1 million to $24.9 million.
