Final Day to Submit Your Company's Data for the 2015 HCI100
Healthcare Informatics’ annual list of the top 100 vendors in healthcare IT is returning, with some new elements being added to distinguish the top companies.
Today is the final day for vendors to submit. Those who wish to submit their company's data can do so here. The list will be published in mid-July.
The Healthcare Informatics 100 ranks the top vendors with the highest revenues derived from healthcare IT products and services earned in the U.S. based on revenue information from the previous year. This year’s version will be the 24th version of the list, which provides a unique financial overview of vendors active in the healthcare IT market. For the most part, corporate revenues are self-reported. However, to ensure accuracy and compile as comprehensive a list as possible, Healthcare Informatics editors collaborate with Atlanta-based Porter Research and San Francisco-based ST Advisors for essential research and analysis.Healthcare Informatics is adding some elements to make this year’s list an even better information resource for its readers. The major change is that on top of including provider-based revenue, that they have historically listed, vendors will now also be able to include health IT revenue derived in the payer, health information management, employer, and vendor-to-vendor markets as well.
“The Healthcare Informatics editorial team and our partners at Porter Research and ST Advisors are making these changes to reflect the industry’s transformation. Leading health IT vendors are no longer just selling systems to providers, payers, health information management, and other organizations are becoming important buyers in this era of population health-based accountable care,” says Mark Hagland, Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Informatics.
On top of that added benefit, the list will also include three new metrics. Vendors will be able to submit its notable customers, major product segments, and social media accounts. All of the previous metrics will still be included. The editors of Healthcare Informatics look forward to creating an even more substantial information resource for its readership.
