Tyco Electronics Corp. offers the 1928L medical touchmonitor from Elo TouchSystems that pairs a 19-inch active matrix TFT LCD display with IntelliTouch and AccuTouch touchscreen technology. The touchmonitor display offers a 1280×1024 resolution at a 1300:1 contrast ratio and is completely sealed by an IPX1 enclosure making it safe from liquid drops and spills. Mini D-Sub 15-Pin VGA type and DVI-D connectors provide for video signal input and built-in 2 watt/channel speakers located in the display head provide audio. On-screen display lockouts for power and user controls are included, and a 5-second power-down delay function prevents accidental power shut down. The unit offers both serial and USB combination controllers, 2-stage DPMS, security lock receptacle, and is fully RoHS compliant.
