The Barco MDSC-1119 advanced color LCD is a 19-inch multi-modality display designed principally for surgical applications such as endoscopic and OR cameras, boom camera and cardiology applications, and also serves as a patient information display. The monitor’s video bus architecture and modular slot allow the display to be configured to specific OR video connectivity requirements and dual channel picture-in-picture or picture-by-picture features provide views of images from multiple input signals. With 1.3 megapixel, 1280×1024 resolution, the TFT AM LCD displays a 700:1 contrast ratio, up to 300 cd/m2 brightness, and a total viewing angle of 178 degrees. A DVI-I input is joined by a host of analog video inputs. Resolutions from VGA up to UXGA are supported and supported video formats include HDTV (1080i, 720p, 480i/p, 1030i), SDI 4:2:2: (270 Mb/s) PAL, SECAM and NTSC.
