The Sharp PN-465U 46-inch LCD monitor is a new screen size for display applications and digital signage that operates in both landscape and portrait mode. With true 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, the monitor provides 2-megapixel, 1920×1080 native High Definition resolution from digital RGB, analog RGB and HD video sources, a 600:1 contrast ratio and 500 cd/m2 brightness. Displaying 16.7 million colors, the Black TFT/Bright Pixel Elimination feature renders any pixel failure that occurs virtually invisible to the viewer. The monitor also offers 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, and 5×5 enlargements for multi-screen displays as well as picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture capabilities. The design incorporates a black metal rear enclosure, an integrated protective overlay, and carrying handles. Two 2-watt stereo speaker terminals and a stereo audio line out provide audio output; video output is DVI-D. The complement of inputs consists of DVI-D, RGB analog, 5 BNC (selectable RGB analog or component video), composite (BNC), stereo audio for PC (3.5mm stereo mini-jack), stereo audio for A/V, and an RS-232C serial port.
