Network Scanner

The Canon ScanFront 220p (pictured) is a letter-size color duplex network scanner that features a large 8.5-inch color touchscreen interface and is capable of scanning directly to e-mail, FTP, shared-folders and USB memory. The ScanFront 220e, available later this year, adds the ShareScan Essentials document imaging software from eCopy Inc. This software is an expandable platform with plug-in application connectors for integrating with popular business applications and services such as document management systems, e-mail and fax servers. Both models also offer fingerprint authentication, ultra-sonic double-feed detection and customizable job buttons. Canon USA, Lake Success, N.Y.
