IPeople and Passport Team Up

Dec. 3, 2009

FRANKLIN, Tenn. and DALLAS – Passport Health Communications, Inc. and Interface People, LP have partnered to deliver integrated patient access management solutions to hospitals using MEDITECH Health Information Systems.

The MEDITECH experts at IPeople provide programming, integration strategies and process automation to health care providers using MEDITECH’s Magic, Client Server, and Focus platforms.  IPeople’s solution creates best-practice configurations for hospitals integrating Passport’s insurance eligibility verification, address verification and other patient access management services into their front end workflows.  The two organizations have collaborated to implement integrated services that automatically perform critical patient data checks and post information directly into the MEDITECH HIS with little to no user interaction, increasing speed and efficiency and dramatically reducing errors.

“Passport already works with one in three U.S. hospitals and has a great track record with facilities using MEDITECH,” said Jenny Blue, Co-founder of IPeople.  “IPeople has maintained a solid position in the MEDITECH community for eight years providing sites with a variety of integration and workflow options.  As our two companies continue to grow, we look forward to working with Passport to provide valuable workflow solutions to our MEDITECH clients and their end users.”
