Cedar Rapids, IA – December 10, 2009 – To better serve the evolving healthcare needs of its Southwest suburban Chicago community, Palos Community Hospital needed to develop a new online presence. Palos Community Hospital selected Geonetric, online solutions provider for the healthcare industry, to build a Web presence that helps the 436-bed hospital expand its service area, promote key services lines, and recruit and retain high-caliber employees.
Palos Community Hospital’s new Web site was recently unveiled and showcases updated content, improved navigation and a fresh design. The site offers a number of new interactive tools including forms and wellness tools, and demonstrates the hospitals move into new media with a video player and links to social media sites.
“When we selected Geonetric, we were looking for a partner that would provide the attention and support we needed,” says Jim Sibley, director, public relations at Palos Community Hospital. “Geonetric continuously proves their value – our team has been impressed by the guidance we’ve received. Our new Web site meets the needs of our patients and our community, as well as our diverse internal stakeholders.”
The site was built on Geonetric’s software, VitalSite®, and features a long list of functionality that allows users to better interact with Palos Community Hospital. The second phase of the project will include new functionality and the addition of a merchant account.
