Image Access for Mobile Devices

Jan. 12, 2010

Accelarad's mobile.accelarad.com provides handheld-device access to images stored on its cloud-based imaging platform. The application runs through the mobile device's browser with no additional software installation required. Authorized users log into the SeeMyRadiology.com Web site, where they are presented with access to the images they are authorized to view. All information is encrypted for security, and the system is HIPAA compliant. After users store images on the cloud archive, they can be accessed by any authorized user who logs into the Web site. SeeMyRadiology.com is a software-as-a-service solution that provides image access across departments, within the enterprise and among unrelated entities. Once a study is uploaded into the cloud, each of the four care-spectrum groups has access to the data, cloud tools and services customized to their needs.
