LifePoint Hospitals Appoints Senior VP of Information Technology

Brentwood, Tennessee (February 4, 2010) – LifePoint Hospitals® (NASDAQ: LPNT) today announced the appointment of Sean Tuley to the position of Senior Vice President of Information Technology.  In this position, Tuley will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s health information technology strategies.

Prior to joining LifePoint, Tuley served as Vice President of Provider Services for Emdeon Business Services, a leading provider of revenue and payment cycle solutions for healthcare organizations. Prior to that, Tuley held various management positions within Perot Systems Corporation and was responsible for supporting healthcare clients. Tuley earned a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Duke University Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Citadel.
