Franklin & Seidelmann to Serve Adventist Health Central Valley Network

Feb. 10, 2010

CLEVELAND, OH – February 09, 2010Franklin & Seidelmann (F&S), a leading, national full-service radiology interpretations provider, has begun the initial implementation to provide Adventist Health Central Valley Network with comprehensive exclusive services for radiology interpretations for Adventist Health’s multiple facilities in Hanford and Selma, Calif.   The contract specifies transitional services beginning this month and will ramp up to full services within approximately 60 days.

Adventist Health Central Valley Network selected F&S with its more than 100 board-certified radiologists to provide radiology services at its three hospitals and Central California Imaging Center.  Radiologists will be recruited, credentialed and brought on-site as F&S staff for general radiology reports, consults and procedures such as interventional radiology with about half of all exams being read on-site. The remaining specialized interpretations will be read off-site by F&S’s network of highly regarded subspecialized radiologists across the United States, all connected by a large proprietary technology infrastructure built by F&S to deliver mission-critical diagnoses within committed turnaround times and with highly definitive and directive report quality.

“F&S was chosen from several radiology providers after a careful process of interviews conducted by our network and medical staff leaders,” said Richard L. Rawson, president and CEO of Adventist Health Central Valley Network. “We made the decision to partner with F&S because of their reputation for reliable, consistent and timely reports, along with their focus on subspecialty radiology, something new to our network. Our goal is to provide the best service to our patients and physicians across our enterprise.”
