Diebold Aligns With Amerinet To Increase Awareness

Feb. 27, 2010

NORTH CANTON, Ohio – Diebold, a leading provider of self-service technology, recently signed an agreement with Amerinet – a leading national healthcare group purchasing organization – to offer self-service registration solutions to its member base of more than 2,200 hospitals and 30,000 non-acute facilities.  The three-year agreement provides greater market exposure for Diebold’s Aurillion patient self-service registration technology, as well as opportunities for Amerinet members by expediting the procurement process and increasing cost-savings for Aurillion’s solutions.

Amerinet works with healthcare organization members to determine their top line goals and provide solutions that can help them achieve those initiatives.  “Our members look to us for quality solutions from superior suppliers and Aurillion easily fits the criteria,” said John Vinarsky, vice president, executive resources and office solutions, Amerinet.  “Amerinet is expanding its focus on revenue cycle management and Diebold provides an ideal set of solutions that help members with the front end of the patient administration process, thus minimizing back-end dissonance and increasing upfront receivables.”

The Aurillion software is a fully configurable patient self-service registration solution that can be deployed via kiosks, portable electronic tablets and other emerging technologies.  Aurillion features include patient registration and scheduling, insurance verification, payment processing, survey information gathering and wayfinding (detailed maps and directions) among many others.  For patients, the result of patient registration automation means a reduction in wait times, paperwork errors and delay of care.  For healthcare organizations, automating data input and information workflow results in increased accuracy of patient and insurance records, timely revenue cycle management and improvements in patient satisfaction.

“We’re honored to be a part of Amerinet’s astute class of vendors,” said Kevin Mickle, director, service business development, Diebold.  “We look forward to helping Amerinet members optimize IT spending, enhance workflow protocols and improve patient experience with our solution.”
