Honeywell's Dolphin 9700 is a digital assistant equipped with multifunctional data-collection and communications capabilities. It can capture signatures, as well as full-color images and video, and features advanced bar-code scanning. An automated camera provides full programming control and point-and-shoot functionality. The device has multimodal communications tools, such as instant messenger, e-mail, Web browsing and voice-guided navigation. The Dolphin 9700 uses Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, and features a 3.7-inch high-resolution display, 45-key QWERTY keypad, global high-speed wireless connectivity, and voice-connected turn-by-turn navigation and assisted GPS.
