Lawson Software Selects LANSA to Extend Supply Chain

April 22, 2010

Downers Grove, Ill. — LANSA announced a business partnership with Lawson Software to assist Lawson S3 Supply Chain Management customers to extend their supply chain integration capabilities to include GS1 standards-based item alignment via the Global Data Synchronization Network® (GDSN®), using LANSA Data Sync Direct as their synchronization vehicle.

Keith Lohkamp, product strategist, supply chain management at Lawson Software, says, “LANSA’s experience helping organizations synchronize item data in their supply chain using GS1, GDSN and 1SYNC standards for item communication/synchronization makes them a logical partner for helping Lawson S3 Supply Chain Management Healthcare customers connect to 1SYNC and other GDSN certified data pools.”

LANSA intends to work with the Lawson S3 Supply Chain Management architecture and structure, allowing the load of items synchronized via the GDSN into Lawson’s Item Master with proper validations to ensure integrity of item data.

As a result of this partnership, Lawson customers will be able to take advantage of a seamless connection into 1SYNC and other GDSN certified data pools to synchronize their item information with trading partners worldwide.
