DETROIT–May 24, 2010–Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) today announced that Baptist Health System (BHS), one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems and employers in Alabama, has selected Compuware’s EHR Service Delivery Solution—powered by Compuware Vantage—to monitor the performance and availability of its Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are being met. With visibility into clinician end-user experience, BHS can now proactively identify and resolve performance issues before they impact patient care and prevent unexpected system downtime, maximizing productivity.

BHS owns and manages four hospitals throughout the state of Alabama totaling 1,576 licensed beds with 4,300 employees. With a recent transition to a “paperless” EHR system for an ambulatory rollout to physicians and clinics, clinician experience with technology has become a top priority for the BHS IT organization.

Compuware’s EHR Service Delivery Solution uses Vantage to ensure clinical applications deliver the consistent, high-quality experience from the clinician’s perspective that is required to maximize productivity and minimize risk to patients. The solution captures performance data across all infrastructure tiers, ensuring optimal EHR performance.
