MEDecision and NaviNet partner

June 8, 2010

WAYNE, Pa.—June 7, 2010—MEDecision, Inc., a provider of collaborative health care management solutions, today announced that it has entered into a joint integration and marketing agreement with NaviNet, a real-time healthcare communications network. The partnership will enable health plans to deliver MEDecision Patient Clinical Summaries—clinically validated, payer-based electronic health records—and advanced referral and authorization technology to any provider enrolled in the NaviNet Network, which includes hundreds of thousands of physicians, clinicians and other caregivers across all 50 states.

The joint solution will deliver MEDecision data via NaviNet, a multi-payer Web portal, directly into the provider office work flow, giving physicians easy access to more robust, actionable patient information at the time of service. This advanced solution can help payers and providers increase administrative and operational efficiencies, control costs and improve care coordination and quality.
