WakeMed Health & Hospitals among the first to adopt TeleTracking’s new software

July 7, 2010

PITTSBURGH, July 6, 2010 — Within the first three months of its release, TeleTracking Technologies’ TransferCenter software has been adopted by 13 medical centers to speed patient transfers from other hospitals.

The new TransferCenter application streamlines placement of transferred patients by automating much of the intake process. It also allows transfer center staff to make direct bed requests and get real time status updates within the application itself when it is integrated with Capacity Management Suite, powered by TeleTracking XT. Another popular feature is its ability to collect and store data for later use, such as the analysis of referral patterns and geographic volume.

Among others signing contracts to implement the TransferCenter™ software were Kaweah Delta Medical Center, Visalia, CA; Methodist Healthcare System, San Antonio, TX; OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City, OK; St. Peter’s Health Care Services, Albany, NY; University of Utah Health Care, Salt Lake City, UT; FirstHealth of the Carolina’s – Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC; Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, IL; Health First – Holmes Regional, Melbourne, FL; Advocate Christ Medical Center, Oak Brook, IL; Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA; and Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown, PA.
