NovaRad adds four Kentucky PACS contracts

Aug. 11, 2010
American Fork, Utah – Aug. 10, 2010 – Four Kentucky facilities are the latest to turn their radiology facilities into state-of-the-art digital departments with NovaRad’s NovaPACS. The hospitals and clinic are:
– Central Kentucky Orthopedics in Georgetown
– James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg
– Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg
– Nicholas County Hospital in Carlisle
Factors behind the decision to select the PACS included fast installation, typically less than three weeks; all software and hardware upgrades are provided at no additional cost and the facilities can expect to receive a return on their investment in less than a year.
NovaPACS provides off-site emergency backup as a safeguard for patient’s critical image data. Physicians will now have anywhere access to tools and information.
