Kadlec Regional Medical Center to deploy Medi-Span

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (September 13, 2010) – Wolters Kluwer Health, a provider of information for healthcare professionals and students, announced today that Kadlec Regional Medical Center will deploy Medi-Span to provide clinicians with point-of-care access to comprehensive drug information and medication decision support via the facility’s EMR system.

Based in Richland, WA, Kadlec Regional Medical Center is a 180-bed non-profit medical center that is home to the region’s only neonatal intensive care unit and its first dedicated cardiac care unit. Accredited by the Joint Commission, Kadlec provides a full range of medical, surgical and rehabilitative inpatient, outpatient and same day services utilizing state-of-the-art technology and the latest and most advanced treatments and procedures.
