iPad medical documentation apps

Nov. 1, 2010

Two new iPad point-of-care applications from IDS allow care providers to convert their paper forms to electronic, tablet-based documents for easier and faster data entry, review and authentication of patient encounters. AbbaDox eForms, an electronic patient encounter tool, mimics standard paper-based patient forms. Providers enter data into secured forms that are live on the Web using the iPad's touch-screen interface. Mobile AbbaDox for iPad, a work-flow and eSignature application, enables physicians to review and sign reports, listen to original voice dictations and scroll through various encounter work-flow bins.
