Astra is an integrated reader/antenna designed for office and commercial environments. Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and WiFi options allow for flexible, single-cable installations to track patients, tools and other equipment. With full support for ThingMagic's enterprise-class MercuryOS software, Astra blends in with corporate IT infrastructures and office layouts. This unit can read up to 190 tags per second at a max tag read distance of over 30 feet. This reader is deployed in several configurations, including ceiling mount, wall mount and integrated into doorway and wall-mount portals.
